Pictures was a success! And more news!

Wow. What an amazing, magical experience it was performing Pictures at an Exhibition with the Frost Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Carl St. Clair. The way he was able to manipulate us and pull every bit of emotion out of us was stunning. He has a brilliant mind and is capable of bringing music alive. I hope I am able to replicate even a smallest bit of him when I conduct the Frost Saxophone Ensemble. I hope to have a recording up soon!

Also, big news! My first master’s recital has been confirmed for November 11th! I’m so excited to present a sound experience consisting of all saxophone and electronics music at 8 pm at the Frost School of Music, which will include works by Jens Vilhelm “Fuzzy” Pedersen, David Pegel, and Andy Scott!
