Masters Recital #2 is complete!

What a fun recital! I enjoyed every second of it last night, being able to collaborate with so many of my peers. I performed five works, including two world premieres written by Benjamin Montgomery, a colleague of mine at the Frost School of Music. One of his works, with electronics, he and I worked with local visual artist Sophia von Wrangell to have a moving painting and virtual reality experience to go along with Ben’s piece; it was amazing! The first two pieces, Prime by Marc Mellits and Escapades by John Williams were so full of energy and joy. And I wrapped up with a work that has been with me for a long time, Jacques Ibert’s Concertino da Camera. Overall, it was a thrilling evening that I’m so proud of.
